NAKIIT
/na:keet/

noun
1. Jewellery (Croatian).

verb
2. To decorate or to adorn.

A play on the word "naked", NAKIIT holds values of simplicity and purity, whether it be in designing or sourcing materials. The "Λ" symbol in the logo signifies the coming together of the artist's heritage and background in fine art and graphic design. The "Λ" represents scales, and thus balance, a foundational value in the creative process.

ARTIST STATEMENT

As a jewellery designer and artist, I try to constantly have my eyes open, looking for inspiration wherever I go. Whether it’s observing the hard lines and edges of a modern architectural building or analyzing the heavy grain on a rich linen fabric, my intention is to collect everyday inspiration from the material world around us.

I believe creativity is in each and every one of us, so it’s such a joy to work with clients one-on-one to design and hand make bespoke pieces fitted just for them. Connecting with the material world drives my passion, yet connecting with others is my purpose.
